About

There’s supposed to be a rule about writing something witty on your blog’s About page, but I thought it best to be straightforward.

I have made my living from various online activities the past half decade. I’ve written on a lot of websites, blogs, and other online publications. I also offer consultancy services for businesses, brands and individuals who want to establish authority in their respective niche or industry.

Check out my resume for more details.

From 2006 to early 2010 I was part of Splashpress Media and Performancing.com in various capacities as editor, assistant editor, technical point person and marketing maven. Previously, I was also part of WordContent, Bloggy Network, dotPH and the Philippine National Economic and Development Authority.

In 2009, I helped start WorkSmartr, a small outsourcing team that provides new media consulting, content, virtual assistance and other services.

I have recently returned to my roots as a technology blogger and journalist, as I now contribute to TFTS and CMSWire. I am also a tech columnist at the Manila Bulletin and Philippine Online Chronicles.

Racoma.net is a recent re-launch effort. I’ve moved back here after five years of blogging on racoma.com.ph, which now mainly serves as my archive. If you want more frequent updates, you can also catch me via Twitter through my lifestream @jangelo, where I have been active recently.

I am an economist by profession, and a writer by passion.

Yes, I do look like my gravatar.

About

I'm a technology blogger and journalist. I contribute to CMSWire and TFTS. I also run a content writing and VA service at WorkSmartr.com.

I've recently reduced my activity in social networks, as I'm focusing on writing. You can still catch my links and bookmarks on Twitter through @jangelo.

You can use the contact form to get in touch with me for any reason. You can also subscribe to posts via email.

Racoma.net is a recent re-launch effort. Five years' worth of blog posts are archived at racoma.com.ph, where I still actively write about technology and related topics.
