There’s supposed to be a rule about writing something witty on your blog’s About page, but I thought it best to be straightforward.
I am currently editor at Android Authority and founding editor at Tech Wire Asia. I am also representing e27 in the Philippines as country editor and co-editor. I also contribute to CMSWire and Techopedia.
I have made my living from various online activities the past half decade. I’ve written on a lot of websites, blogs, and other online publications. I also offer consultancy services for businesses, brands and individuals who want to establish authority in their respective niche or industry. Check out my resume or my LinkedIn profile for more details.
From 2006 to early 2010 I was part of Splashpress Media and Performancing.com in various capacities as editor, assistant editor, technical point person and marketing maven. Previously, I was also part of WordContent, Bloggy Network, dotPH and the Philippine National Economic and Development Authority. In 2009, I helped start WorkSmartr, a small outsourcing team that provides new media consulting, content, virtual assistance and other services. I have also contributed to several technology publications, including TFTS, the Manila Bulletin and Philippine Online Chronicles. I also do car reviews, mainly through Pinoy Auto Blog, which has been sold. I’m trying to build up killometerz.com as the new home for my automotive reviews.
Racoma.net is a re-launch effort. I’ve moved back here after five years of blogging on racoma.com.ph, which still hosts my technology-related articles. If you want more frequent updates, you can also catch me via Twitter at @jangelo.
I’m happily married to a teacher, and we have three kids and two cats.
